The Importance of Bats

Now, many of you may have seen bats in your house premises or on your safari trips, and you may know that some people say that they only spread disease called Rabies and destroy our gardens... But they are very important too. There are many types of bats in our world. Now, I will explain everything............

Bats may look not that much important, but they are very important in the world. Some important species are the flower bats, the Mariana flying foxes, Cuban flower bats, etc. are important pollinators in remote islands in the Pacific Ocean.Bats also are friends to other bats and they are so social...... They pollinate mangoes, guavas, bananas, and over 500 other types of plants while they are sucking nectar, which allows the plant to reproduce. they throw themselves into the flowers and get covered in pollen. In the night, pale flowers bloom in dark for flower bats to find, pollinate and drink nectar. And some flowers are especially shaped so the bats can find them during echolocation, It's like that they stop to hear the flowers. Bats also help farmers, because it eats harmful insects that would otherwise destroy the food, that way it will save the farmer's money. They also have vampire bat friends, and they even share their meals when they really trust each other.......

When a vampire bat is feasting on an animal's blood, it regurgitates some of the blood it drinks and feed it to a bat in need, then that bat will remember eho helped and share next time. These bats need to eat every 48 hours and so their relationships is important.
